WPA Code of Practice for Industrial Wood Preservation
The Wood Protection Association this week launches its new format, fully updated Code of Practice for Industrial Wood Preservation. This new publication supports the ongoing education campaign to raise awareness within the wood supply chain for the accurate specification of preservative treated wood products.
This document replaces the old WPA Manual:Industrial Wood Preservation – Specification and Practice. It provides the latest advice and recommendations for the correct specification, description, treatment, handling and use of preservative treated timber.
The new WPA Code of Practice is supported and endorsed by both the Timber Trade Federation (TTF) and the Timber Decking & Cladding Association (TDCA), as part of the 3-way working partnership agreement on treated wood products.
